శ్రీ కృష్ణాష్టమి విశిష్టత
ద్వాపరి యుగం లో శ్రీ ముఖ నామ సంవత్సరం లో శ్రావణం మాసం లో బహుళ అష్టమి నాడు అర్దరాత్రి రోహిణి నక్షత్రం లో శ్రీ కృష్ణ జననం జరిగిందని పురాణాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. శ్రీ కృష్ణుడు పరిపూర్ణుడు. అన్ని అవతారాలలో కృష్ణావతారమే పూర్ణావతారామని ప్రసిద్ది. అందుకే ఆయన్ని కృష్ణ పరమాత్మ అంటారు. కృష్ణ పరమాత్మ ఆవిర్భవించిన దివ్య తిథె "కృష్ణాష్టమి". ఈ పండుగ రోజున ఉదయాన్నే స్నానాదులు పూర్తి చేసి షోడశోపచారాలతో కృష్ణుని అర్చించాలి. పూజాది క్రతువు పూర్తైన తర్వాత శ్రీకృష్ణ లీల ఘట్టాలని చదవాలని ధర్మశాస్త్రాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. కృష్ణాష్టమి నాడు కేవలం భగవానుని పూజించడమే కాదు, అయన లోని కొన్ని మంచి లక్షణాలని అలవర్చుకోవాలి. ప్రతి విషయం లోను స్వార్ధం, ఈర్ష్య, అసూయలను కొంతైన విడనాడి,మానవజన్మకు సార్ధకతని ఏర్పరచుకోవాలి.
కృష్ణతత్వాన్ని పరిశీలిస్తే, తన లీలల ద్వారా భక్తులకు జ్ఞానోపదేశం చేశాడు, ఆయన చేసిన అన్ని పనులలోను అర్ధం పరమార్ధం కనిపిస్తాయి. ధర్మ పరిరక్షణ లో రాగద్వేషాలకతీతం గా వ్యవహరించాడు. ఈ రోజున కృష్ణుని అర్చిస్తే సకల పాపాలు పోతాయి. ధర్మార్ద కామ మోక్ష ప్రాప్తి కలుగుతాయని స్కాన్దపురాణం చెబుతుంది. ఈ రోజున బంగారం తో కాని, వెండితో కాని చంద్రబింబాన్ని తయారుచేసి వెండి, బంగారు పాత్రలలో దానిని ఉంచి పూజించి అర్ఘమిస్తే సకల కోరికలు తీరుతాయని భవిష్యోత్తర పురాణం ద్వారా తెలుస్తుంది. అంతే కాకుండా ఈ రోజు భీష్మాచార్యులను పూజిస్తే సకల పాపాలు తొలగుతాయని మహర్షులు చెప్పారు. సంతానం లేని వారు బాల కృష్ణుడి ని సంతానా గోపాల మంత్రం తో పూజిస్తే సంతానం కలుగుతుంది. అదే విధం గా వివాహం కానివారు, వివాహ ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తున్న వారు రుక్మిణి కళ్యాణం పారాయణం చేయడం వల్ల వారికి వివాహ యోగం కలుగుతుంది.
చివరగా శ్రీకృష్ణ పరమాత్మ చెప్పిన విధం గా "నీ కర్తవ్యాన్ని నీవు చిత్త శుద్ధి తో నిర్వహించు పలితాన్ని నాకు వదిలేయి"..ఆనే మాటను ఆచరణ లో పెడితే మనమందరం సుఖం గా జీవిన్చవచ్చు.....
